Tomacelli Academy: FIGHT SCHOOL

Tomacelli Academy: FIGHT SCHOOL is proud to present Knife Workshop 2023. This is a three part workshop designed to give you the basic awareness and skill set to defend yourself against an edged weapon wielding attacker. This first workshop will be focused on:

1. Defending the three most common attack angles.
2. Redirecting the arm that is in control of the edged weapon in use.
3. Exercise your options to either destroy the extremity controlling the weapon or disarming the weapon.

The vast majority of this workshop will be WORK. The best way to program in a skillset is through repetition, and lots of it. Be prepared to sweat and spend the needed time programming in the appropriate motor skills.

The knife is the most common, and accessible, weapon in the world. It is a primal desire, rather necessity to learn how to defend, disarm, re-deliver, or draw and deliver the edge against your assailant.

Training knives will be provided for all of the three workshops. When all three workshops have been attended you will be given a trainer to take home as your own to train with.

*Payments for all three workshops must be received by December 02, 2023.

**If you are attending individual workshops then payments must be received seven days prior to the date of the specific workshop you desire to attend.

***If you are a currently enrolled student of Tomacelli Academy, or OC Muay Thai, then your cost will be $200 for all three workshops or $100 for attending only specific choice workshops. Please verify with Professor Tomacelli before making this payment so as to check your membership status please.
