HANDGUN 102: THE COMPLETE BREAKDOWN
1. THE CURRICULUM
Phase 1: Dry Fire Intensive (Days 1 & 2)
Location: Tomacelli Academy, Orange Before a single live round is fired, we will master the mechanics.

Holster Mastery: Perfecting the 4-step draw stroke (Grip, Clear, Meet, Present).

Tactical Manipulations: Emergency reloads, tactical reloads, and clearing Type 1, 2, and 3 malfunctions.

Neural Priming: High-repetition drills to build the "muscle memory" required for stress-based shooting.

Trigger Isolation: Using SIRT lasers or dry-fire tools to eliminate "anticipation" flinches.
Phase 2: Live Fire Application (Days 3 & 4)
Location: TO BE DETERMINED
The transition from theory to reality.

Inoculation: Applying Day 1 & 2 skills.

Positional Shooting: Shooting from kneeling, prone, and behind cover/concealment.

Movement: Engaging targets while moving and shooting from "the draw" on the move.

Standard Exercises: A final qualification course to validate skills.
2. THE GEAR LIST
Range Gear

Firearm: Semi-automatic pistol (Full size or Compact preferred).

Holster: Quality Outside the Waistband (OWB) Kydex/rigid holster. No soft nylon or "sticky" holsters. Tactical belt and appropriate pants.

Ammo: 300 rounds of factory-new brass.

Support: At least 3–4 magazines and a double magazine holster.

Safety: Eye and Electronic ear protection (highly recommended) and wrap-around eye protection.
Camping Gear (Optional)

Shelter: Tent or vehicle-camping setup.

Basics: Sleeping bag (rated for current temps), sleeping pad, and camp chair.

Lighting: Headlamp and handheld tactical flashlight.

Self-Sustaining: Plenty of water (1 gallon per day) and easy-to-prep meals/snacks.
3. PRE-COURSE TIMELINE

4 Weeks Prior: You will receive the Handgun 102 Digital Study Guide. This includes videos and drills.

2 Weeks Prior: Final logistics email with range directions and camping location arrangements.

Day 1 (8:00 PM): Check-in at Tomacelli Academy. Do not bring live ammunition into the academy and place your training firearm in its container on the provided table upon entry for the instructor to inspect.
